About WattCalc Lab
Why WattCalc Lab publishes transparent EV and home-energy calculators.
What we publish
WattCalc Lab publishes free calculators and practical guides for electric vehicles, solar power, batteries and household energy. The site focuses on questions where a few transparent inputs can make a decision easier.
Our approach
We prefer editable assumptions and visible formulas over unexplained recommendations. Calculator values are processed in the visitor’s browser, and no account is required.
Who the site is for
The tools are designed for homeowners, EV drivers and energy enthusiasts using European units and 230/400 V electrical systems. Results remain estimates and do not replace professional electrical, engineering or financial advice.
Project founder
Tomas Baranauskas
FounderEV driver and home-energy user with first-hand experience of a 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5 AWD, European 230/400 V home charging and a 7.81 kWp residential solar installation. Calculator results are planning estimates, not professional engineering advice.
First-hand observations are labelled as owner observations and are kept separate from manufacturer specifications and independent reference data.
Corrections and feedback
